Aluminum downspouts are manufactured in a few different sizes. 3", 4", 5" and 6" aluminum downspout sizes in most cases are large enough to drain even the largest size roof. The larger the downspout hole the quicker the roof runoff will drain.

You want the thickness of your aluminum downspouts to be at least .019 gauge in thickness. The stronger the material, the more durable it will be to falling twigs or landscaping maintenance. This will help eliminate the dents and dings in your new downspouts.

You will need at least three downspout elbows in most cases to install your downspout. Also two pipe bands will wrap around the downspout and hold it in place. Always use pop rivets to secure the downspout to the wall, not screws. We have 16 colors to choose from. We also supply and distribute color cards and chips upon request.
